For International Women's Day I wanted to create an artwork that challenged the conception of women as delicate flowers. Because women can be both feminine and gentle but also have grit, resilience and inner strenght. Inspired by my own journey into kickboxing I chose the metaphor of a boxing glove turning into a flower to capture this duality.
